NUITS DORÈ

Dark complexion, toned, athletic body, and a mocking, joyful yet brooding, absorbed gaze. Skin heated by the scorching sun, a natural fire to release its intense scent of vetiver sedimented on skin and light summer shirts, accompanied by more seductive and provocative notes of amber and piquant Mediterranean resins.

I met him in Spain, during a vacation with my parents, in the prime of his teenage years, at a beach party with friends. He, older than me, conquered every breath of my season of shooting stars and discoveries, stories and promises: "I have to see Paris for the Eiffel Tower, Amélie!"

Like snow in the sun, this sweet connection dissolved when the routine resumed at school. I never saw him again, but every time the Eiffel Tower rises above me from the Trocadéro, ethereal, majestic and metallic, my thoughts turn to this man and the sensuality of those passionate summer evenings, with the hope, never extinguished, of being able to meet him again, as well as the deep, dark, opulent and sinuous essence of the perfume of "first love"...
