LA MAGIE

Following the welcoming curves of the Seine from the boats, I cross Paris every morning, intoxicated by the scent of the body awakening, reconciled by the relaxing calm of the waters and the rhythmic pace of the race that warms memories, evaporating them into the air I pass through. Clean, elegant notes of morning freshness, soft and milky, an ancestral immersion in the cradle of my maternal grandmother's care. An essence of intoxicating jasmine and delicate cleansing notes of rose water and iris, expertly blended with warm notes of amber and the inevitable lightness of Sicilian citrus fruits. These tones, which saturate the skin and memories, mingle with equally familiar Parisian experiences, with the scents of my paternal grandparents' bedrooms, with a passion for those typical scents of face powder and talc mixed with the skin, with the most classic French perfumes. A blend I love to smell along the silent riverbanks in the morning, to feel it floating in the Parisian landscapes, and, even more gratifying, in the soft linen after a soothing shower.

The aroma of the evening, when I return home, crossing the threshold of my house, finding myself again.
